Account Manager Transfer Agency
The Apex Group was established in Bermuda in 2003 and is one of the world’s largest fund administration and middle‑office solutions providers. We seek a dedicated professional to support our global fund servicing operations.
Role Responsibilities- Act as a primary point of contact for fund investors, managers and internal teams on fund documentation, investor registries and AML/KYC processing.
- Apply knowledge of AML/KYC laws, guidelines and Apex’s policies to all processes.
- Support all Transfer Agency functions, including investor onboarding, share‑registry dealing, Metrosoft screening, payments, and FATCA/CRS filings.
- Coordinate with operations and CRM teams to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Understand fund structures (share classes vs. series) and publish accurate NAVs to pricing vendors such as Bloomberg, Refinitiv and Morning Star.
- Manage accounting aspects of subscriptions, redemptions and distributions, and release investor communications per procedure.
- Maintain relationships with the FA team and update workflow procedures for NAV inclusion.
- Oversee fund audits and PBC requirements related to Transfer Agency activities.
- Read and comment on TA‑related aspects of a Fund PPM; coordinate with the Corporate Secretary for waivers and board resolutions.
- Track assigned funds, timelines, documentation and related processes, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines with high attention to detail.
- Participate in special projects, such as automation, enhanced controls, system testing and client research.
- 5–7 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a Transfer Agency role.
- Strong understanding of AML/KYC regulations in the MENA region, CIMA, and Apex policies.
- Knowledge of Bermuda and BVI AML/KYC laws is an advantage.
- Proficiency in English; written and spoken Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent written communication, email etiquette and client‑service skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge and ability to interpret fund pricing and NAV calculations.
