Customer Due Diligence Senior Associate

Job Summary

As a Customer Due Diligence Senior Associate within the AML Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our onboarding and ongoing due diligence processes for corporate and retail clients meet regulatory standards and internal policy requirements. You will be part of a team conducting risk-based Customer Due Diligence reviews, and supporting our wider AML Operations team objectives by identifying and mitigating potential financial crime risks.

• Manage the time-sensitive ongoing and Sanctions name screening portfolio, utilising analytical precision to clearly illustrate false positive rationales and minimise unnecessary Requests for Information.
• Conduct AML Customer Due Diligence reviews for individual clients, ensuring adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Support periodic reviews for individuals and entities as required.
• Maintain high-quality standards while navigating complex operational workflows and meeting stringent SLA requirements.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Business Development teams to resolve complex cases.
• Support testing of system releases and ongoing customer profile maintenance.
• Carry out additional responsibilities and ad-hoc tasks as assigned, contributing to team goals and organisational success.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Min 3 years in AML/KYC operations, with sufficient background in Retail Customer Due Diligence (exp in Corporates a plus).
• A keen eye for detail with the ability to navigate and precisely execute specialized operational workflows are essential.
• Experience in digital asset operations and the ability to identify gaps in operational and system flows would be a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and adaptability.
