Job Objective

Support the Group Tax function in managing tax compliance, advisory, and reporting matters across Beyon Group, while coordinating with internal stakeholders and tax authorities on corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing, international tax, and related tax matters within the MENA region.

Responsibilities Strategic
  • Support the development and execution of strategic tax initiatives for the Group’s sub-functions, ensuring alignment with the Group Tax strategy and organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to the implementation of tax-related strategic projects and initiatives, monitoring progress against agreed milestones and supporting achievement of sub-function KPIs.
Financial
  • Assist in preparing and monitor adherence to the budget for the Group’s sub-functions. Analyse deviations and take corrective course of action
Operational
  • Prepare, review, and support corporate income tax computations, provisioning and filings for Digital entities.
  • Support tax audits, assessments, and correspondence with tax authorities, including those in the MENA region.
  • Manage VAT compliance for the Group, including advising on VAT treatments for cross-border transactions.
  • Collaborate with Finance teams across the group to ensure accurate VAT accounting, reporting, reconciliations, and documentation maintained, with exposure to MENA VAT regimes considered an advantage.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of transfer pricing policies for Digital operations, in alignment with Group transfer pricing framework/policies.
  • Assist with preparation of transfer pricing documentation (local files and master files).
  • Perform functional, economic, and benchmarking analyses, including cross-border MENA transactions.
  • Provide support on international tax matters including permanent establishment (PE) risks, withholding taxes (WHT), and cross-border structuring.
  • Understand the nature of digital products and services offered by Digital OpCos operating across multiple geographies, assess the applicable tax implications, and ensure appropriate tax treatment to support compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Assist with reporting and implementation planning.
  • Coordinate with Finance teams within the Group and external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions to support tax compliance and advisory activities.
  • Develop and maintain tax models, trackers, and reconciliations.
  • Perform data analysis to support tax positions, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Contribute to automation initiatives and continuous process improvement within the tax function.
  • Support tax risk management processes and ensure appropriate documentation and internal controls are maintained.
Required Qualifications and Experience Profile 1
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related degree from a recognized university.
  • 5–7 years of relevant tax experience, including corporate income tax, VAT, transfer pricing, and international tax matters, preferably gained within a multinational group, Big 4 firm, or reputable tax advisory practice.
  • Experience supporting tax compliance, reporting, audits, and advisory activities across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Exposure to MENA tax regimes and digital business models is an advantage.
  • Experience liaising with tax authorities, external advisors, auditors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to and provide commercial tax advice that adds value to the business.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Arabic Speaker will be highly desirable
  • English language spoken and written skills.
  • Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ADIT, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CTA or equivalent) is an advantage.
Profile 2
  • Master’s degree in taxation, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration (MBA), or a related field is preferred.
  • 4–6 years of relevant tax experience, including exposure to Corporate Income Tax (CIT), VAT, Transfer Pricing, and International Tax matters.
  • Experience gained within a multinational organization, Big 4 firm, or reputable tax advisory practice is preferred.
  • Exposure to MENA tax regimes and digital business models is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting tax compliance, reporting, audits, and advisory projects.
  • Experience working with Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders on tax-related matters.
  • Professional tax or accounting qualification (e.g., ADIT, ACCA, ACA, CPA, CTA or equivalent) is an advantage.
