Reservations Manager

As the Reservations Manager, you will oversee all aspects of reservations and group booking within the hotel. The Incumbent is responsible for maximizing room revenue and occupancy by effectively managing group inquiries, bookings, and room allocations.

• Handle all group inquiries and bookings, including negotiating rates, terms, and contracts.
• Coordinate room blocks, meeting spaces, and special requests for group reservations.
• Work closely with sales and conference teams to ensure all group needs are met and communicated effectively.
• Oversee the reservations department, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of individual bookings.
• Check previous night s statistics, no Shows, and early departures.
• Monitor reservation trends, cancellations, and no-shows to optimize room revenue and occupancy.
• In conjunction with the Commercial Director / Revenue Manager, implement strategies to drive direct bookings and minimize reliance on third-party distribution channels.
• In conjunction with the Commercial Director / Revenue Manager, implement pricing strategies for group bookings.
• In conjunction with the Commercial Director / Revenue Manager, analyze booking patterns and market demand to adjust rates and availability as needed.
• Utilize revenue management systems (RMS) and data analytics to forecast and maximize revenue opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for group organizers and VIP guests, ensuring exceptional service and satisfaction.
• Records and processes deposit information.
• Identifies and records special billing instructions; approves credit after consultation in conjunction with the Finance team.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to coordinate guest requests, room allocations, and special arrangements.
• Resolve guest concerns and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
• Lead and motivate the reservations team, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Conduct regular one-to-one performance conversations and yearend performance reviews to implement development plans to enhance team skills, motivation and productivity.
• Prepare regular reports on group bookings, occupancy rates, and revenue performance.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Present findings and strategies to senior management to support decision-making processes.

• Bachelor s degree in hospitality management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in hotel reservations management and/or group sales.
• Proficiency in Opera Cloud.
