Senior Leadership appointment – Our client is seeking a General Manager overseeing the Asphalt Surfacing and Contracting Division
. The General Manager will lead and manage the division's resources, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality objectives.

• Overseeing operations, managing project timelines, budgets, and the workforce.
• Maintaining quality assurance for materials and end products.
• Collaborating with senior management to develop strategies for division growth.
• Fostering client relationships, optimizing production levels.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and contracts.

• Civil Engineering, QS, or Asphalt and Paving Diploma/Degree through Derby University.
• Extensive experience in Asphalt Production, Road Construction, and Surfacing operations, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
• Proven leadership capabilities, including workforce management, team collaboration, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in quality assurance, materials testing, and compliance with regulatory and operational standards.
• Experience with financial budgeting, cost estimations, and production planning is essential.
• Strong communication, organizational, and relationship management skills to liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively.
• Previous managerial experience in the Middle East is beneficial.
• At least 15 years of experience, of which 5-7 are in a senior Manager role.
