We are seeking a Compliance Manager to lead and oversee the organization's compliance framework, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies. The successful candidate will work closely with business units, senior management, and governance functions to foster a strong culture of integrity, ethical conduct, and regulatory compliance while supporting organizational objectives.
The Compliance Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, monitoring regulatory developments, conducting compliance risk assessments, and providing guidance to stakeholders on compliance obligations. This role requires strong analytical skills, sound judgment, and the ability to balance regulatory requirements with business needs.
Responsibilities- Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
- Monitor changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards, and assess their impact on business operations.
- Conduct compliance risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
- Review business processes and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.
- Provide compliance advice and guidance to business units and management.
- Conduct compliance monitoring, control testing, and periodic compliance reviews.
- Support regulatory reporting, inspections, audits, and examinations.
- Investigate compliance issues, identify root causes, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Develop and deliver compliance awareness and training programs across the organization.
- Prepare compliance reports, dashboards, and management updates for senior leadership and governance committees.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Internal Audit, Information Security, HR, and business teams on compliance initiatives.
- Promote a strong culture of ethics, accountability, and continuous compliance improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of compliance management, corporate governance, regulatory requirements, and internal control frameworks.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management, ethics, anti-money laundering (AML), data privacy, or financial crime compliance is an advantage.
- Ability to interpret laws and regulations and translate them into practical business guidance.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management systems is an advantage.
- Professional certifications in Compliance, Risk Management, Governance, Internal Audit, AML, or related fields are an advantage.
