To support our growth strategy, we are looking for an experienced and results-oriented Sales Director East Africa, Middle East & CIS to be based in Bahrain.
Role OverviewThe Sales Director East Africa, Middle East & CIS is responsible for defining and executing the regional sales strategy across the assigned countries, with a strong focus on developing and managing dealer and partner networks. The role leads a multicultural sales organization with team members based in Bahrain and Dubai and acts as the key commercial interface between headquarters, regional partners, and end customers.

- Define and implement the regional sales strategy in line with company objectives, ensuring sustainable growth across East Africa, Middle East, and CIS countries.
- Develop, structure, and expand dealer and partner networks, improving market coverage, performance, and brand positioning.
- Lead, coach, and develop the regional sales team based in Bahrain and Dubai, setting clear objectives and fostering a high-performance culture.
- Establish short- and long-term sales targets, policies, and operating procedures aligned with corporate strategy.
- Drive revenue growth and profitability by contributing to pricing strategies and ensuring achievement of margin objectives.
- Strengthen relationships with key distributors and strategic customers, expanding engagement at senior management and executive levels.
- Represent the company with key industry stakeholders, distributors, and major accounts across the region.
- Plan and oversee regional sales meetings, trade shows, and partner visits, including hosting site visits and customer events.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, pricing, and promotions, providing structured feedback to the organization.
- Conduct regular business and performance reviews with key partners and internal teams.
- Develop and manage regional sales and operating budgets.
- Ensure close collaboration with marketing, product management, operations, and after-sales teams to maximize customer satisfaction and market effectiveness.
- Higher education degree.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales team leadership roles.
- Proven experience in the power generation sector (diesel, gas, or energy solutions).
- Strong understanding of distributor-based business models and end-user dynamics.
- Demonstrated success in developing and managing dealer and partner networks.
- Experience leading geographically distributed, field-based sales teams.
- International experience across emerging and developing markets is strongly preferred.
- Strong business planning, forecasting, and budgeting capabilities.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in complex, multicultural environments.
- Advanced negotiation and strategic selling skills.
- Ability to manage complex accounts and partner relationships.
- Solid financial acumen and ability to analyze P&L and commercial performance.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
