The Opportunity

We are looking for a specialty care partner based in Bahrain. This position will be responsible in effectively representing and promoting Boehringer Ingelheim Specialty & Rare Diseases (SRD) portfolio to existing and potential customers, by presenting the benefits of our products, with the objective of maximizing sales revenue and increasing market share. Key responsibilities in this role include offering innovative, tailored solutions for key accounts ensuring long term presence of the SRD portfolio whilst adhering to company best practices.

This Position will be reporting to the Sales Manager Specialty care.

Tasks & Responsibilities Sales Planning
  • Builds and executes an effective Sales Action Plan with the objective of maximizing business in assigned accounts and to ensure achievement of sales and market share targets/objectives
  • Monitor the sales development and performance of Boehringer Ingelheim Specialty care Products
Sales Execution
  • Works Closely with Sales Manager in executing an effective sales action plan with the objective of maximizing business in assigned country to ensure achievement of country sales targets/objectives
  • Plan and schedule daily visits with existing and potential customers to deliver the company's core product messages
  • Record and monitor product sales and obtain feedback from existing customers on product performance and activity
  • Secure a consistent and sustainable growth in sales and revenue by identifying and developing new market opportunities
Account Management
  • Obtain and provide information about the development in accounts on their purchasing medicines and developments regarding healthcare projects
  • Monitor the competition through intelligence activities on Key Accounts
  • Achieve or exceed overall sales targets via appropriate resource utilization as well as frequent visits to key stakeholders
Stakeholder Management
  • Build strong and long partnerships with all key stakeholders and ensure their full awareness of Boehringer Ingelheim product benefit to the patients
  • Propose customized partnership programs for both prescriber and payers that need to build productive relations between the accounts and the company

  • Listing of Specialty products in all accounts through the value proposition of Specialty products to the payers and P&T committee and the decision makers
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of Pharmaceutical Sales experience preferably in specialty care set up
  • Expertise in account-based customer engagement
  • Experience working with specialists such as Neurologists, Pulmonologists, rheumatologists
  • Experience with Hospital System Tenders and formulary processes is an advantage
  • Fluency in English language (Spoken & Written)
