Business Development Manager

Job PurposeThe Business Development Manager is responsible for driving Floward’s corporate sales strategy and growing the company’s footprint within the B2B and enterprise client sector. This role requires a strong network, a results-oriented mindset, and deep industry knowledge to identify high-value opportunities, develop tailored gifting solutions, and manage client relationships from acquisition through delivery. The role plays a critical function in shaping the corporate sales pipeline, influencing revenue growth, and aligning business development activities with strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities Strategic Corporate Sales Acquisition- Identify and close corporate sales opportunities across multiple industries and verticals.
- Develop tailored gifting solutions aligned with client needs and Floward's value proposition.
- Maintain a robust corporate pipeline by nurturing high-potential leads.
- Leverage existing B2B networks and industry presence to generate leads.
- Attend key forums, trade shows, and conferences to expand Floward's corporate outreach.
- Develop strategic partnerships and alliances to expand market access.
- Prepare compelling proposals and negotiate terms that meet client expectations and profitability targets.
- Manage the full sales cycle including deal closing, documentation, and contract execution.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and client specifications.
- Create sales plans and action roadmaps to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Regularly report on sales progress, revenue forecasts, and account development activities.
- Monitor win/loss ratios, client satisfaction, and deal conversion metrics.
- Serve as the lead point of contact for key clients and corporate partners.
- Ensure fulfillment of corporate contracts through coordination with internal teams.
- Drive high post-sale satisfaction to support retention and referral opportunities.
- Mentor junior sales staff and support cross-functional team collaboration.
- Contribute to business development training programs and market knowledge sharing.
- Provide input to leadership on sales tools, pricing models, and competitive positioning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in B2B business development or corporate sales roles.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and building corporate client portfolios.
- Prior experience in the gifting, retail, luxury goods, or eCommerce sectors is preferred.
- CRM system expertise and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to develop tailored commercial proposals and sales documents.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication abilities.
- Strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- High resilience, ownership, and accountability in a fast-paced environment.
