Operational
- To supervise associates in his section for attendance at work and quality of job performance. should have at least 1 and half years of experience in Plumbing work.
- To ensure that after completion of each job the place of work is left in clean condition, with particular emphasis on guest areas.
- To inspect regularly the function and safe operation of all equipment under his jurisdiction.
- To control closely the consumption of material by tradesmen of his section.
- To report to his supervisor all deficiencies in equipment operation and defects within the area of his responsibility noted in the course of his duty.
- To perform other duties outside the normal routine, if so required, within the scope of the department.
- Guiding and issuing assignment to the shift team.
- Good understanding of all building MEP systems.
- Able to use test equipment.
- Verification of Technicians workbooks.
- Able to operate the room PPM system.
- Controls equipment PPM job card assignments.
- Responds to all emergencies.
- Coaching and training of subordinates.
- Complete all shift reports and log entries.
- To demonstrate good leadership skills and motivation of his subordinates.
- To show good abilities in human resources management of his subordinates.
- To ensure punctual attendance at work of all employees.
- To ensure cleanliness of uniform and general appearance of his subordinates, and make sure name badges are worn at all times.
- To assist with the creation of an efficient and professional team of engineering employees.
- To assist with the departmental training program, ensuring that all employees have a complete understanding of the Hotel’s policies relating to Fire Safety, Health and Hygiene, and that these policies are strictly adhered to.
- To supervise closely all applicable rules of safety in the workplace.
- To report for duty punctually, well-groomed and wearing name tags at all times.
- To provide a courteous and professional service at all times.
- To maintain good working relationships with own colleagues, and all other departments.
- To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
- To maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene at all times.
- To have a complete understanding of the Hotel’s rules and regulations and adhere to them.
- To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- To perform duties outside the scope of his trade in case of emergency, if so called upon.
- To respond to changes in the function as dictated by the industry, company or the Hotel.

Experience, Certificate & Education- Minimum education of diploma
- Minimum experience of 1 year in similar position
