Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team in Manama Bahrain. As a Carpenter you will be responsible for constructing, installing and repairing structures made of wood and other materials. You will work with a variety of tools to measure, cut and shape the necessary materials for each project.

• Read and interpret blueprints or sketches to determine materials needed and dimensions of the structure
• Measure, cut and shape wood and other building materials using hand or power tools
• Install structures such as windows frames, flooring, cabinets and furniture
• Repair or replace damaged or rotting wood
• Build scaffolding and other temporary structures to support construction projects
• Follow all safety protocols while working with power tools and heavy machinery
• Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
• High school diploma or equivalent vocational training or apprenticeship preferred
• Strong knowledge of different types of wood and other building materials
• Proficient in using hand and power tools such as saws, drills, chisels, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings accurately
• Physically fit with good manual dexterity
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Good communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
