Instrument Technician

We are in need of an experienced Instrument Technician to join our team in Manama, Bahrain. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing various types of instruments used in industrial and commercial settings. You will work closely with engineers and other technicians to ensure that all instruments are functioning correctly and efficiently.

• Install new instruments according to technical specifications and safety guidelines.
• Conduct routine maintenance on existing instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Troubleshoot any issues or malfunctions with instruments and make necessary repairs.
• Calibrate instruments to ensure accurate measurements and readings.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed on instruments.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to identify any potential problems or improvements for instrument systems.
• Train new technicians on proper installation, maintenance and repair procedures for instruments.

• Minimum of 3 years experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial or commercial setting.
• Knowledge of various types of instrumentation systems and their components.
• Familiarity with electrical systems, wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Understanding of safety protocols for handling hazardous materials or working in potentially dangerous environments.
• Ability to read technical manuals and follow instructions accurately.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
