K provides Contingency Base Operations, Stabilization, and Infrastructure support services under Naval Support Activity (NSA) Bahrain, UAE, Oman, and related task orders.
Job SummaryK is seeking a Licensed HVAC Mechanic to perform heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) installation, maintenance, and repair activities following assigned work instructions and established procedures. The role will involve installation, inspection, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems and components in accordance with applicable codes, standards, and operational requirements.
- This will be an onsite position with fulltime deployment to NSA Bahrain in Manama, Bahrain.
- Review and interpret basic instructions and documentation to support planning and execution of work tasks.
- Coordinate the movement of materials, tools, and equipment to work sites and participating in setting up and preparing job locations.
- Complete and review work records accurately and maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition.
- Perform general housekeeping and clean up activities to ensure safe and organized work environments.
- Adhere to all safety rules, regulations, and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Role may involve moderate to heavy physical labor, including lifting and handling equipment and materials.
- Must be a US citizen.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related HVAC experience.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and safety practices.
- Computer skills, including working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to work long hours in support of mission requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Experience in contingency environments as well as knowledge and experience working with government contracts.
