Job Overview:
- The Film Installer – PPF / Wrapping Technician is responsible for executing high-quality installation of paint protection films, vinyl wraps, window films, and related automotive applications in accordance with approved company policies, procedures, and quality standards. The role ensures proper handling of customer vehicles, compliance with Environment, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) requirements, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with internal stakeholders to support operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Secondary education preferred, with relevant technical or vocational training in PPF, vinyl wrapping, or automotive.
- Minimum experience of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in PPF or automotive film installation.
- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in Paint Protection Film (PPF) and Vinyl Wrap applications, including surface preparation and installation techniques.
- Exceptional hand‑eye coordination and fine motor skills for precise film application.
- Ability to diagnose vehicle issues and estimate the time required for service or repair jobs.
- Knowledge of approved procedures for conducting service and repairs.
- Ability to document repairs and installations accurately.
- Strong problem‑solving skills to handle unique challenges presented by different vehicles.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills to clearly explain installation details.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to quality control, ensuring minimal waste of PPF and wrap materials.
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate various makes and models of vehicles.
- Willingness to continually enhance skills through training, including learning nano ceramic coating techniques.
- Demonstrated work ethic, self‑motivation, attention to detail, professionalism, and care for customer property in all aspects of work.
- Install Paint Protection Film (PPF) using pre‑cut patterns or bulk material with hand‑cutting techniques, including window tint and wrapping applications.
- Prepare, wash, detail, and inspect vehicle surfaces before and after installation to ensure smooth, high‑quality application.
- Perform exterior and interior inspections (dents, scratches, fabric or dashboard deterioration) and report findings to the Supervisor.
- Ensure all installations comply with approved procedures, quality standards, and manufacturer guidelines while minimizing material waste.
- Diagnose installation issues, execute corrective repairs when required, and document all work performed accurately.
- Estimate service and repair time to support efficient scheduling and meet timelines set by the Supervisor.
- Collaborate with the sales team to address customer inquiries, provide estimates, and support business growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, quality reports, and customer feedback documentation.
- Manage inventory of films, tools, and equipment; maintain tools and report any malfunction to the Supervisor.
- Report operational, procedural, workflow, or system issues to the Supervisor in a timely manner to enable effective corrective action.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure proper handling of materials.
- Assist colleagues in performing their tasks as necessary.
- Ensure that customers receive the highest level of customer service at all times.
- Contribute to improving installation protocols to reduce waste and increase precision.
- Knowledge of approved and established procedures for conducting service and repairs.
- Maintain work equipment and tools and inform the Supervisor of any failures or malfunctioning of such equipment.
- Report to the Supervisor any difficulties or additional work required during work.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, internal procedures, and Environment, Health, Safety & Quality (EHSQ) requirements.
- Handle customer vehicles and property with extreme care to prevent damage at all times.
- Be knowledgeable of A.A. Bin Hindi Internal procedures and policies.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as agreed upon by the Division Manager and Job holder.
