Our client in the healthcare services industry is looking for a Staff Accountant who will be responsible for assisting with the preparation monthly financial analysis, account reconciliations, and accounts payable. The successful candidate will have prior experience with monthly close, accounts reconciliations, accounts payable and other financial expectations associated with this role.
- Salary - Up to $75K
- Benefits - Medical (HSA), Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, STD/LTD, 11 holidays (2 floating) and earned PTO at 15 days per year
- Schedule - Hybrid 3 days in office/2 days remote
- Location - Manasquan/Wall NJ area
Responsibilities:
- Prepare accounting related entries to numerous registers, journals and logs
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations
- Maintain detailed monthly reconciliations of balance sheet accounts Assist in preparing documentation for external auditors and tax accountants
- Handle ad hoc special projects and financial reporting
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently with good problem-solving skills
- Quick Books Desktop experience required
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI a plus
- Ability to work independently with accuracy and strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical, organizational, and oral and written communication skills
