EDI Data Analyst

Winston Benefits, a Brown & Brown company, is seeking an EDI Data Analyst responsible for collecting and analyzing both incoming and outgoing data and distributing to the appropriate parties. The candidate should be focused, organized, and able to juggle multiple competing priorities while interacting with internal and external parties.

• Review both internal and external file load reports and perform appropriate actions required.
• Work with external vendors to resolve issues.
• Ensure imports and exports meet file requirements.
• Monitor file creations and transfers to ensure accurate and timely processing.
• Identify root cause and provide solution.
• Work with multiple departments to resolve issues and improve workflow.
• Support overall EDI Team.
• Create and review test cases for file feeds.
• Update existing mappings and rules documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Ability to adapt to changing business processes, technologies, and environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, mathematically inclined, and can work independently.
• Must have strong analytical skills for effective problem solving.
• Strong focus on deadlines and deliverables – able to find defects and bugs quickly.
• Experience working with overlapping product release cycles.
• Advanced MS Office Word and Excel skills.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL.
• General understanding of data schemas and structures.
