Is seeking an experienced, hands‑on professional to serve as Superintendent of Public Works. Under the direction of the Borough Administrator, the Superintendent is responsible for planning, directing, and supervising the Borough’s public works operations, personnel, facilities, equipment, capital improvement projects, emergency response, workplace safety, budgeting, and purchasing. The position works closely with the Borough Engineer, contractors, and utilities; serves as the Borough’s field liaison on capital projects;

and acts as the Borough Safety Officer.

Applicants must possess five years of supervisory experience in construction, building and grounds maintenance, street repair, other public works facilities, or similar heavy construction or maintenance work, along with a valid New Jersey driver’s license. Management experience in a public entity a plus. CDL, CPWM certification, emergency management credentials, or relevant advanced education are preferred. The position is full‑time, exempt, non‑union, and in the unclassified service.
