• Rotating food by using the oldest first as the buffet bar is replenished
• Maintain a clean and sanitary buffet environment with knowledge of proper food handling, storage, and sanitation
• Assist team members with buffet bars as needed
• Communicate effectively with the kitchen team when more food needs to be cooked
• Be aware of guests needs; assist in providing a pleasant dining experience
• Clean carpet around buffet stations to maintain a clean and safe working environment for guests and coworkers
• Ensure all food items are stored properly according to health department regulations
• Ensure all work areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized
• Interact with guests and provide a warm greeting and a positive parting remark expressing gratitude for their business
• Ensure all cooking and electrical equipment is turned off at the end of the shift
• Attend staff meetings, morning meetings and other meetings as requested
• Perform all other duties as requested

• Must be age 16 or older
• Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items (trays, tubs, etc.)
• Weekends, evenings and holidays required
• Ability to follow safety protocols
• High energy and stamina are required
• Ability to stay calm and work efficiently under pressure
• Ability to prioritize job duties and manage time effectively
• Strong verbal communication skills required
• Excellent customer service to treat patrons like family
• Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents
