Retail Associates - Locally Made Food Shop - Anna's Gifts & Sundries (Finance). The Locally Made Food Shop Retail Sales Associate provides a great customer experience in our retail shop through friendly service, maintains store cleanliness, and replenishes inventory. This role may support all retail shops across our two properties as needed.
Responsibilities- Greet customers, respond to questions, engage with merchandise, and provide outstanding customer service.
- Maintain availability for work shifts including day, evening, weekend, and holidays based on business needs.
- Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions, and balance drawers.
- Direct customers to merchandise within the store.
- Increase store sales and help achieve monthly and yearly budget goals.
- Use company literature and training resources to stay up to date on product features.
- Work as a team with coworkers to balance customer service and tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized appearance throughout the store.
- Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers.
- Cross-sell products from different business units to increase overall company revenue.
- Replenish inventory and comply with inventory control procedures.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Display positive, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read and write.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team oriented and organized.
- Multi-task oriented with strong time management and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and emergency procedures.
