Position: Systems Engineer at V2 Systems

Systems Engineer

Systems engineers should have excellent communication, interpersonal, project management, and governance skills. They should also be adept at analysis, problem solving, and conflict resolution since they work with a variety of departments and shareholders who may have different goals for a project.

V2 Systems is seeking individuals who are self‑motivated, energetic, and want to acquire a significant role in a small and growing company. Candidates must have an entrepreneurial mindset and be willing to contribute to the growth and establishment of an emerging company, handling a broad range of responsibilities including:

  • Surveying client sites
  • Providing technical support
  • Providing sales and solutions engineering
  • Managing client accounts
  • Managing and executing projects

Qualified candidates must have hands‑on experience with designing, building, installing, migrating, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT resources for small and midsized organizations. Desired experience includes:

  • Infrastructure (servers, workstations, firewalls, routers, switches, WAPs, etc.)
Sales Executive

We are seeking a hard‑working, self‑motivated Sales Executive to join our business development team. In this role you will use your skills and experience to help increase new sales opportunities, improve our market position and maximize new business. A strong understanding of IT support, MSPs and technology is a must.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Four‑year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent sales experience.
  • Two or more years of Managed Services sales.
  • Successful track record of meeting and exceeding weekly sales targets in appointment setting, face‑to‑face meetings (now virtual meetings), proposal submissions, and closes.
  • An aggressive self‑starter with excellent prospecting, relationship building, and closing skills.
  • Previous sales training with sales skills and techniques.
  • Communication, relationship building, customer service, prioritization, account forecasting / planning, negotiating, consultative selling and superior organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with selling to CEOs and business owners desired.
  • A good fit for the culture: true passion for changing organizations for the better, a high‑paced, professional‑casual atmosphere, people oriented, belief in partnership, innovation, excellence.
Responsibilities
  • Follow up on in‑house leads from website, referrals and marketing campaigns.
  • Prospect for new business via networking, events, partnering, cold calling etc.
  • Successfully understand and address client’s technology and business concerns during the sales process.
  • Create proposals, meet with prospects, and follow up to close deals.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • Record activities in our CRM software and update sales notes for prospects.
  • Work in conjunction with the marketing team on campaigns focused on increasing the base revenue.
