Onsite - Manassas, VA Duration: 12+ Month Contract

We are seeking an experienced C++ Developer to join our team in Manassas, VA for a long-term project. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with modern C++ standards (C++14/17/20) and strong expertise in the Standard Template Library (STL). You will be working on mission‑critical systems in a high‑performance, real‑time computing environment.

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using modern C++ (14, 17, 20)
• Write high‑quality, maintainable, and well‑documented code
• Utilize STL and other modern C++ libraries and frameworks
• Work closely with QA, Dev Ops, and other developers to deliver performant and robust solutions
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in a complex multithreaded application
• Participate in code reviews and adhere to best practices in software engineering
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum team settings

• 5+ years of hands‑on C++ development experience
• Proficiency in modern C++ standards (C++14/17/20)
• Strong knowledge of STL, memory management, and multithreading
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code
• Solid understanding of computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, design patterns)
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
