Senior Staff Accountant

Full-time, onsite based in Manassas, VA.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities
• Own complex journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications
• Perform and review balance sheet account reconciliations
• Analyze variances vs. budget, forecast, and prior periods
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Manage fixed assets and depreciation
• Assist with preparation of internal financial statements and management reports
• Support external financial reporting requirements
• Prepare schedules and supporting documentation for audits
• Other duties as assigned

• High School Diploma required;
  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, MBA, or CPA preferred
• Minimum five years of relevant accounting experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
• ERP proficiency (Sage experience is a bonus)
• Physical requirement: sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0–15 pounds
