Job Description:

Nova Group Management is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and maintain financial records and reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Prepare journal entries and financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Support audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Collaborate with management on budgeting and financial analysis.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books, Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Compensation: $40.00 per hour

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, financial reporting, and account reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in Quick Books, Microsoft Excel, and other accounting software.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Familiarity with payroll processing and tax filings is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
