As a Construction Support Technician, you'll work alongside experienced professionals on commercial construction projects throughout Northern Virginia. You'll become the eyes and ears of the project, helping ensure construction meets engineering plans and quality standards. Your responsibilities include:

• Observing construction activities on active job sites
• Testing and inspecting concrete, soil, asphalt, and masonry
• Learning to read and interpret construction plans
• Documenting field observations and preparing reports
• Working closely with Project Managers to keep projects on track
• Traveling locally to project sites in company vehicles

We are an employee-owned consulting engineering firm providing construction inspection and materials testing services throughout Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. Our projects include schools, hospitals, government facilities, commercial buildings, and transportation infrastructure.

• Competitive starting pay: $18-21/hour (entry level), and higher starting pay for qualified candidates with prior field experience and certifications.

• Ability to commute to our Manassas, VA office (company vehicles provided for travel to job sites)
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work overtime, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Ability to lift and carry materials weighing 40 pounds or more
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
