Construction Superintendent – Lead High-Stakes Commercial Site Operations Nationwide
You will serve as the primary field leader, driving the successful delivery of complex commercial projects from the ground up. This role empowers you to act as the central point of command on-site, where your judgment and technical expertise ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. Coordinate all on-site activities and resources to ensure the construction team meets daily milestones and long-term project goals.
Supervise day-to-day field operations, delegating tasks to crews and managing staff schedules to maximize productivity.
Review construction documents and manufacturer data for completeness to ensure all work aligns with architectural specifications.
Develop master project schedules and three-week look-ahead plans to proactively manage labor, equipment, and material logistics.
Monitor site safety protocols and conduct regular inspections to maintain a secure environment for all workers and visitors.
Communicate critical field updates and technical judgment calls to Project Managers to maintain alignment between the site and the office.
Mentor field personnel and foremen, providing performance evaluations and technical training to foster continuous professional growth.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction leadership or a related supervisory role.
Strong foundational knowledge of commercial construction methods and building systems.
Proven ability to interpret project plans, specifications, and technical documentation.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Exceptional organizational skills with a track record of managing multi-million dollar project budgets.
Advanced proficiency in developing temporary site facilities and complex work plans.
Experience in business development support, including assisting with bids and proposals.
