Senior Architectural Layout Designer
We're looking for a Senior Architectural Layout Designer to serve as a project lead on complex semiconductor and high-tech facility designs. You'll bring deep expertise in Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam — directing junior staff, managing scope and schedule, and delivering high-quality design packages across multiple concurrent projects. This is a leadership role for someone with a proven track record and the ability to drive a team forward.
Pay: $44.71- $61.25 per hour DOE
What You'll Do- Serve as project lead designer — grasp full scope, provide direction, and keep the team aligned and moving forward
- Create, review, and maintain high-accuracy Revit models, AutoCAD drawings, and Navisworks/Bluebeam model reviews
- Identify scope creep early and escalate to project leadership as needed
- Break projects into tasks, estimate hours, and provide work plans to leadership
- Identify technical problem-solving options, evaluate pros and cons, and present findings to the design team and client
- Implement and enforce industry best practices and codes and standards across all deliverables
- Mentor, train, and lead junior staff and designers new to the project
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude while managing competing priorities across multiple scopes
- Bachelor's degree in Architectural Studies, Computer Drafting and Design, or equivalent on-the-job experience
- Proven track record of successful design delivery across multiple projects, scopes, and clients — supervisor reference acknowledging track record required
- Experience in industrial building design and semiconductor or related high-tech facilities
- Deep knowledge of Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam
- Strong understanding of how design decisions affect scope, schedule, and budget
- Intimate knowledge of applicable codes and standards
- Ability to lead, train, and mentor junior and mid-level designers
- Experience with 3D modeling and clash detection tools
- Knowledge of semiconductor tool requirements and installation processes
- Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in high-tech manufacturing
