Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

Pay: $17-$19 per hour

About The Learning Experience

The Learning Experience - Manassas City is seeking a reliable and energetic Assistant Teacher / Center Support professional to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with all age groups and thrives in a dynamic, supportive childcare environment. As part of our center support team, you will assist classrooms, step in as a floater teacher when needed, and help maintain a smooth daily flow throughout the school.

Key Responsibilities

* Support multiple classrooms (Infants-Preschool) by assisting teachers and engaging with children.

* Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment at all times.

* Assist with classroom routines such as activities, meals, diapering/toileting, and transitions.

* Provide coverage for staff breaks and planning periods as needed.

* Build warm, professional relationships with children, families, and staff.

* Help ensure the center remains clean, organized, and compliant with state licensing standards.

Qualifications

* High school diploma or GED required.

* Experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is required.

* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

* Dependable, flexible, and comfortable working in multiple classrooms.

* Must meet all Virginia state childcare licensing requirements.

* CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
