Pay: $15-$17 per hour

Schedule:

Full-Time, Monday-Friday

The Learning Experience – Manassas City is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Teacher to support our early childhood classrooms. Working alongside Lead Teachers, you will help create a safe, positive environment where children learn through play, daily routines, and meaningful relationships.

This position is ideal for someone with childcare experience who enjoys being part of a collaborative teaching team.

• Assist Lead Teachers with classroom routines and learning activities
• Support children during meals, rest time, outdoor play, and transitions
• Help prepare classroom materials and learning centers
• Encourage positive social interaction, communication, and independence
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Follow Virginia childcare licensing requirements and center policies

• Previous professional childcare experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required
• CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Must meet Virginia childcare licensing requirements
