What You’ll Need:
An understanding of the implications of environmental regulations
Possess business acumen that is applied in all aspects of project execution
Knowledge of environmental compliance, environmental consulting, and client interactions/relationships.
Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Civil, Environmental Engineering, or Environmental Science.
Minimum 4 years of experience within environmental consulting
Basic knowledge of federal and state/provincial environmental regulations
Ability to travel up to 40% - 60% time may be required
Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation or the ability to obtain it in the next 6 months
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:Master of Science degree
Engineering degree with environmental coursework
Strong attention to detail when making technical evaluations and reviewing reports
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and possess the ability to deliver compliance advice and internal team members
Responsibilities:As an Intermediate Environmental Engineer, you will work in the office and field with a multi-disciplinary team consisting of experienced engineers and consulting staff. Working closely with senior Environmental Engineers, you will support the delivery of environmental projects by preparing, writing and reviewing reports and project documents, preparing calculations, maintaining strong relationships with internal staff and clients, evaluating and reviewing data and ensuring the environmental strategy is being followed for each project.
You’ll have the opportunity to help create a more sustainable world by ensuring environmental compliance, environmental management and health and safety while working on diverse projects. In this role, you’ll be working with different clients, while having the opportunity to be mentored by experienced senior engineers.
