We are currently looking for someone to support the integration, verification, and validation of advanced submarine combat and weapon systems through hands‑on testing, system troubleshooting, and field support across lab and shipboard environments. - Develop, document, and execute comprehensive test procedures and test cases
- Conduct system integration, verification, and validation (V&V) testing
- Identify, document, and troubleshoot software, firmware, and hardware defects
- Perform tactical system installation, rip‑outs, configuration, and validation
- Configure lab environments per technical drawings and port maps
- Utilize electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Support informal and formal customer‑driven test events
- Provide detailed analysis, interpret test results, and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal engineering teams, government labs, and external partners
- Support Logistics in developing installation and operational procedures
- Provide intermittent field support at partner labs and submarine home ports (domestic & international)
U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience) or Master’s degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.
Active DoD Secret clearance required at time of hire
Minimum 2+ years of job‑related experience
Technical Experience (Must Have One or More):
AN/BLQ-10 or AN/BYG-1 or AN/BQQ-10 or Submarine Weapon Launchers
Technical
Skills:
- Software testing and analysis
- Object‑oriented programming
- System processes and scripting languages
- Verification & Validation (V&V)
- Network configurations, operations, and command‑line usage
- Electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters)
Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
Navy or Submarine experience preferred
Ability to travel intermittently, including shipboard and submarine home ports (domestic & international)
