We are seeking a seasoned Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) to oversee survey operations in Manassas, Virginia. This leadership role is ideal for a licensed surveyor with strong management skills and a background in pipelines, utilities, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

• Lead, mentor, and manage survey crews and staff to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient project delivery.
• Oversee day-to-day operations including staffing, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with internal service managers and clients to drive business development opportunities and expand surveying services.
• Manage projects with a primary focus on pipeline and utility surveys, ensuring compliance with survey standards, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
• Establish and maintain policies, procedures, and best practices that strengthen team performance and operational excellence.

• Active Virginia PLS license required.
• 10+ years of progressive surveying experience, including project and team management.
• Strong background in pipeline, utility, and infrastructure projects preferred.
• Experience managing multiple crews and survey staff is strongly valued.

• Lead a growing team of survey professionals in the Manassas region.
• Take ownership of survey operations for major pipeline and utility projects
• Salary range: $120,000 – $130,000+, depending on experience.
