ResponsibilitiesWrite and modify equipment recipes to meet RDA area requirements, including both standard Process of Record (POR) and engineering (non-POR) recipes. Monitor and respond to recipe requests – ensuring validation, documentation, and completion of entries. Collaborate with Equipment Owners and shift teams to resolve recipe-related issues. Train engineers and technicians on tool operation and recipe development. Develop and update procedures for tool operation and recipe writing.
Perform basic and advanced tool recoveries for assigned workstations. Lead software upgrades and improvements, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors. Monitor SPC charts for tool qualification deviations; initiate repairs or adjust limits as needed. Analyze tool and process data to identify opportunities for performance and efficiency improvements. Review and document recipe‑related alarms and errors; drive reduction in incident frequency.
Ensure accurate tool logging and communicate issues, tests, and procedural changes to engineering and affected areas. Participate in global tool‑sharing forums and drive follow‑up actions. Audit new tools upon arrival in collaboration with vendor representatives. Coordinate resources for tool installations and de‑facilitations. Partner with Equipment Owners to develop qualification plans for new tool installs and communicate plans to stakeholders. Notify vendors of application issues and maintain communication to track progress, estimated recovery time, and root cause analysis.
Collaborate with vendors on escalated application issues and long‑term solutions involving software or hardware changes. Utilize defect analysis software, SPC, tool tracking, automation systems, and standard data analysis tools. Comprehend RDA data flow from tool to SPC chart. Evaluate certification data to identify personal skill gaps and pursue relevant certifications. Maintain active certification on all assigned training items relevant to your role and job grade.
Identify and address deficiencies in group training programs. Contribute to cross‑functional teams as needed.
Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Material Science and Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation.
