Responsibilities
  • Perform electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non‑functioning electro‑mechanical equipment used in the manufacturing process.
  • Dismantle, adjust, repair and assemble equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to perform checkouts.
  • Rebuild manufacturing equipment as required.
  • May perform equipment modifications as directed by engineers.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Flexible with job responsibilities and shift assignments including night shift.
  • Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (3 on/4 off and 4 on/3 off) with the need to stand the entire shift and lift equipment.
  • Basic understanding of SPC principles.
  • Knowledge of AC/DC and Digital Electronics circuits, including fundamentals of electricity, basic electronic components and circuit analysis.
  • Knowledge of algebraic concepts, data extraction, analysis, and reporting skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education in an industry‑related associate degree; working towards a STEM related degree; equivalent military training and experience; equivalent work experience.
  • Applied proficiency in mechatronics, robotics, fundamentals of electricity, technical writing, electrical power and machinery, or statics.
  • Prior semiconductor experience.
