Process Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Quality Engineering
Responsibilities
- Starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, focusing on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement, and risk management, and resolving manufacturing line problems.
- Identifying, diagnosing, and resolving process‑related problems using failure analysis, FMEA, 8D, or SPC methodology.
- Coordinating and carrying out process, equipment, and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at the process step, leading and participating in yield improvement and cost reduction activities.
- Handling new process baseline qualifications and managing, auditing, and liaising with material suppliers to achieve quality, cost, and risk management objectives.
- Establishing and improving process conditions and technology, upgrading process capability and reducing production cost, and setting up process parameters for various semiconductor equipment.
- Evaluating, promoting, and planning new equipment/materials; conducting abnormal analysis and improvement.
- Maximizing yield by working on tools, processes, or wafer fabrication recipes; troubleshooting wafer fabrication problems and performing root cause analysis.
- Collaborating with other process areas to understand and control process deviations, and conducting long‑term investigation of defect issues with shift engineering and other functional areas.
- Evaluating products to ensure they meet required design and performance specifications.
- Conducting research to assess process adjustment requirements and recommending process improvements or equipment changes to efficiently manufacture new product or part types.
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in process engineering or a related occupation.
- Knowledge and experience in Process Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, Data Analytics, Data Mining, Statistical Process Control, and Project Management.
