We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven Test & Evaluation Engineer to support the Common Weapon Launcher (CWL) and Multi-Tube Weapon Simulator (MTWS) projects on U.S. and Australian submarines. The role involves laboratory and submarine environment testing, integration, and validation of critical systems.

• Collaborate with CWL and MTWS engineers to conduct testing and integration.
• Define, document, analyze, conduct, and interpret tests with various engineering groups.
• Identify functional issues and propose effective resolutions.
• Operate in a fast‑paced, integrated product development team with multiple contracting organizations and DoD laboratory entities.
• Develop and analyze test cases while providing regular progress updates.
• Report to a supervisor or manager, demonstrating a high degree of autonomy.

• Craft comprehensive test procedures.
• Use electrical measurement tools such as oscilloscopes and multimeters.
• Conduct Verification and Validation for corrective changes.
• Perform installations, rip‑outs, testing, and validation of tactical systems.
• Configure the lab per relevant drawings and port maps.
• Support informal and formal test events and other customer‑driven test activities.
• Identify, analyze, and document software, firmware, and hardware defects; collaborate with engineering to troubleshoot.
• Travel occasionally to submarine home ports for Field Services activities.
• Support the Logistics team in developing installation and operation procedures.

• Experience with AN/BLQ-10, AN/BYG-1, Submarine Weapon Launchers, or AN/BQQ-10 systems.
• Proficiency in software testing and analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• General knowledge of network configurations, operations, and commands.
• Navy or Submarine experience is a valuable asset.
• Ability to lift up to 45 pounds.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

• Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related specialized area/field, or equivalent (4 years job‑related experience). Requires an additional 2+ years of job‑related experience, or a Master’s degree.
