Role Overview
Work with the Advanced Technology Engineering leadership team and area leadership to define area transfer goals, timelines, and milestones. Drive execution of area projects and tasks, ensuring safety culture and meeting new product introduction schedules.
Collaborate with Process Engineering, Process Integration Engineering, Manufacturing Equipment Engineering, and Fab Area Leadership to enable capacity for technology qualification and volume manufacturing ramps. Work closely with Tool Installation, Planning, Procurement, Facilities, Incoming Quality Control, and other stakeholders to meet milestones for transfer, pilot start‑up yield, quality, cycle time, and production ramp preparation.
Develop strong relationships with sending fabs, Operational Central Team, and other stakeholders to improve safety, yield, quality, cost, and cycle time. Identify, develop, and implement organizational initiatives that drive benchmark performance. Mentor engineering team members and develop successors.
Responsibilities- Drive execution of area projects and tasks, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Drive a positive safety culture, setting expectations and ensuring standards are met.
- Meet new product introduction project timelines and capture key transfer milestone deliverables.
- Manage, measure, and drive DRAM technology transfer projects to ensure all deliverables and schedules are met.
- Partner with engineering teams to enable capacity to meet qualification and volume manufacturing ramp.
- Engage early with stakeholders to meet milestones for transfer, pilot start‑up yield, quality, cycle time, and production ramp.
- Mentor engineering staff and develop successors.
- Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of experience relevant to the role.
- Experience with semiconductor process in diffusion, implant, and rapid thermal processes.
- Experience with sub‑20 nm DRAM technology.
- Experience in technology transfer between high‑volume manufacturing fabrications.
- Knowledge of process output matching and risk mitigation.
- 10 % international travel required; telecommute part‑time possible.
