Overview

As a Fab Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will work with a team of process and equipment engineers responsible for starting up, developing, and optimizing processes to improve product quality and reliability, working on process yield improvement, cost reduction, productivity improvement and risk management, and resolving manufacturing line problems.
This position will identify, diagnose and resolve process‑related problems by applying failure analysis, FMEA, 8D or SPC methodology and coordinate and carry out process, equipment and material evaluation/optimization to implement changes at process steps.
- Establish and improve process condition and technology.
- Upgrade process capability and reduce production cost.
- Establish and modify process management projects.
- Set up process parameters for a variety of semiconductor equipment.
- Evaluate, promote and plan new equipment and materials.
- Conduct abnormal analysis and improvement.
- Utilize AI‑enabled opportunities for improving engineering workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in an aligned field (mechanical, electrical, chemical engineering, etc.).
- Software proficiency for data analytics (JMP, Python, C++, SQL, etc.).
- Ability to perform data analysis, mathematical modeling, and basic engineering design calculations.
- Familiarity with troubleshooting electrical/pneumatic/vacuum/gas delivery systems.
- Understanding of semiconductor devices, processes, and characterization techniques.
- Excellent collaboration, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
