The Work
The Submarine C5I Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) program is seeking a full-time, highly motivated Engineering Aide to provide technical support in an Agile environment. You will join the Bay team to perform hardware and software installations, conduct build check‑outs, and execute root‑cause troubleshooting while supporting Integration & Test (I&T) engineers with system testing and issue documentation. A government security clearance is required.
Key Responsibilities- Operate within an Agile environment, emphasizing continuous integration of hardware and software.
- Perform basic hardware and software installation and routine maintenance activities.
- Manage hardware and software configurations, including version control.
- Conduct regular build check‑outs to maintain configuration integrity.
- Execute system testing and evaluation activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues to isolate the root cause.
- Record test outcomes, failure reports, and any gaps in documentation.
- Follow the team lead’s guidance and work together to prioritize tasks efficiently.

- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) security clearance.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of related technical or engineering support experience.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders at a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency.
- Working knowledge of the Linux command-line interface for system navigation, scripting, and basic troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience setting up hardware and cabling based on technical drawings.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence products, including experience with agile project planning, issue tracking, and collaboration tools.
- Experience with asset management or configuration management.
- Strong organizational skills.
This position requires a government security clearance. Candidate must be a US citizen. Clearance Level: Secret.
