School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Manassas, VA

This full-time position runs from August 24, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with placements in the Dale City, Dumfries, and Woodbridge areas. Your dedication as a School-Based Speech-Language Pathology Assistant will help foster a positive, inclusive environment for learners who benefit from speech and language interventions.

• Completion of a degree in Communications, Speech Language, or Communication Disorders.
• Understanding of therapeutic approaches for school-aged populations.
• Ability to collaborate seamlessly within a multidisciplinary school team.
• Adaptability and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.

  an SLPA license is not required or available in Virginia for this position.

• Provide speech and language support services as outlined by supervising Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Implement individualized programs designed to meet diverse student needs.
• Collect data and document student progress, reporting findings to supervising clinicians and educational staff.
• Support the development of communication skills across classroom, social, and functional contexts.
• Participate in team meetings, planning sessions, and ongoing training as needed.
