Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) - Manassas, VA

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team at Galaxy ABA Therapy in Manassas, Virginia! As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a vital role in helping children with developmental disabilities build meaningful skills and reduce challenging behaviors through evidence-based, play-based ABA therapy.

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings, implementing skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). You will use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging, collect data on client progress, and complete session documentation. You will also collaborate with supervisors, parents, and team members to maintain a safe, supportive, and professional environment.

• Work one-on-one with children in home, school, or community settings
• Implement skill-building and behavior-reduction plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Use play-based, child-led approaches to make therapy fun and engaging

• High school diploma (required);
  Associate's or Bachelor's in Psychology, Education, or related field (preferred)
• Completion of 40-hour RBT training (or willingness to complete within the first six months of employment)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical ability to engage in active play, lift up to 40 lbs, and ensure client safety
• Ability to pass background checks (FBI, CPS, State of VA) and provide CPR, HIPAA, and TB clearance (support provided)
• Prior ABA, childcare, or behavioral health experience is a plus—but training is provided for the right candidate
