Adult Behavioral Health Therapist

Columbia Mental Health in Washington, DC seeks a Licensed Mental Health Therapist to provide evidence-based individual and group therapy for diverse adults with complex psychiatric needs. You will complete diagnostic assessments, develop person-centered treatment plans, and document care using EHR systems. Collaborating with psychiatrists and care teams, you’ll support holistic, outcomes-focused treatment. • Provide individual and group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities
• Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and risk evaluations
• Develop and update person-centered treatment plans and goals
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in the EHR
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary care teams
• Participate in case consultation, supervision, and team meetings
• Engage in crisis intervention and safety planning as needed
• Educate patients and families on mental health and treatment options
• Support quality improvement and outcome measurement initiatives
• Pursue ongoing professional development and specialized trainings
