Human Resources Generalist

Your week doesn't happen behind one desk. As our Northern Virginia HR Generalist,
you'll support our Winchester, Fredericksburg, and Springfield branches in person — one day helping a driver plan for an upcoming leave, the next preparing a manager for a tough performance conversation, then welcoming a new hire on Monday morning. You'll know these teams by name, because you'll be there. Not on a video call, not in an inbox — in the building, every week.

That's what HR looks like at Virginia Eagle Distributing. We're one of Virginia's leading beverage distributors, and our Northern Virginia teams keep some of our busiest markets moving. You'll be the HR partner who connects all three branches: finding and onboarding great people, guiding employees through benefits and leave, keeping our commercial drivers DOT-compliant, and helping managers get the important moments right.

Regular travel between branches is part of the job, and it's how trust gets built.

• Be the go-to HR partner on site for employees and managers
• Recruit, hire, and onboard great people for your branches
• Coach managers on performance and resolve employee relations issues
• Guide employees through benefits, leave, and workers’ compensation
• Manage DOT compliance for our commercial drivers
• Keep HR records, safety programs, and reporting on track

• Willingness to work ON SITE at multiple branches every week and drive between them (valid Virginia driver’s license and safe driving record required)
• Bachelor’s degree, or five years of HR experience in lieu of a degree
• At least one year of professional office experience — HR experience is a plus, not required
• Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
• Organized, people-focused, and comfortable juggling priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

• Competitive base salary $60,000 - $80,000/year base salary. Starting pay is based on relevant experience, education, and certifications.
