HFC Technical Trainer

Servicing Cox Communications, Comcast Cable, Segra and Suddenlink in the States of Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Tennessee, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and in Washington D.C., we are a trusted resource for cabling and maintaining high-speed internet connectivity via fiber optic and coaxial systems.

Fiber Network Services (FNS) is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled HFCTechnical Trainer to join our Manassas, VA team with up to 60% travel.

• Develop and deliver Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) training programs
• Conduct on-site training courses at different locations
• Ensure all training materials and equipment are available and in good condition
• Keep up to date with changes in fiber optic technology and update training materials accordingly
• Assess the performance of students and provide feedback
• Set up and maintain training equipment
• Ensure all training conducted is in line with industry standards and safety regulations
• Assist in the development of training manuals and course materials

• 5+ years of experience as a HFC Technician or similar role
• 5+ years of experience in a training role
• Extensive knowledge of HFC technology and equipment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Capable of multitasking and managing time effectively
• Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
• Able to work in all weather conditions.
