Fiber Network Services (FNS) is seeking a knowledgeable and skilled HFCTechnical Trainer to join our Manassas, VA team with up to 60% travel.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and deliver Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial (HFC) training programs
- Conduct on-site training courses at different locations
- Ensure all training materials and equipment are available and in good condition
- Keep up to date with changes in fiber optic technology and update training materials accordingly
- Assess the performance of students and provide feedback
- Set up and maintain training equipment
- Ensure all training conducted is in line with industry standards and safety regulations
- Assist in the development of training manuals and course materials
- 5+ years of experience as a HFC Technician or similar role
- 5+ years of experience in a training role
- Extensive knowledge of HFC technology and equipment
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to explain complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Capable of multitasking and managing time effectively
- Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
- Able to work in all weather conditions.
