IT Field Service Specialist

Our client, a leading technology organization, is seeking an IT Field Service Specialist to join their team. As an IT Field Service Specialist, you will be part of the Local IT Team supporting IT Engineering Computing Environment, including servers, storage, operating systems, networking, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: IT Field Service Specialist

Location: Manassas, VA

What's the Job?

• Define and implement core system hardware and operating system solutions.
• Work with customers to gather requirements, and propose, engineer, and provision system solutions.
• Install, configure, support, and maintain hardware and operating system solutions.
• Create system documentation, testing, training, and post-deployment assessments.
• Support day-to-day operations and provide customer support, ensuring system security and performance.

What's Needed?

• Experience with PC client hardware and operating systems, including Microsoft Windows and Mac.
• Knowledge of system setup, standardization, and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with asset management and inventory procedures.
