Senior Storage Engineer

• Develop and maintain scripts, utilities, and automation workflows to reduce manual effort and improve infrastructure service delivery
• Build and enhance internal tools, dashboards, reports, and self-service capabilities for operations, monitoring, provisioning, and incident response
• Translate operational needs into practical automation and tooling solutions
• Create integrations using APIs, command-line tools, web services, and automation interfaces
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, source control, testing, code reviews, and deployment processes
• Troubleshoot automation workflows, Linux systems, APIs, networking, DNS, monitoring, and related infrastructure services
• Automate provisioning, health checks, reporting, validation, maintenance, and compliance evidence collection
• Develop reusable code, templates, playbooks, or modules for consistent infrastructure operations
• Improve monitoring and observability through alerts, metrics, log collection, dashboards, and reporting automation
• Collaborate with infrastructure, application, security, and operations teams
• Apply secure coding and operational practices, including access control, secrets handling, auditability, error handling, and documentation
• Create and maintain technical documentation, developer notes, standard operating procedures, and runbooks
• Participate in production support, on-call activities, incident response, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• Equivalent hands-on development, scripting, automation or infrastructure tooling experience will also be considered
• Preferably 3–6 years of experience in foundational software development or scripting
• Experience using Python, Bash, Power Shell, Go, JavaScript or a similar language
• Basic understanding of Linux, networking, DNS, APIs, and infrastructure support concepts
• Experience creating scripts, automation workflows, or small tools for operational or technical problems
• Familiarity with Git, source control, CI/CD concepts, testing, and code review processes
• Ability to read documentation, understand requirements, and translate operational needs into technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good written and verbal communication, including technical documentation, status updates, and operational reporting
• Interest in operational efficiency through automation, tooling, integration, and continuous improvement

Demonstrates expertise in developing automation workflows, scripting, and infrastructure tooling to enhance operational efficiency. Proficient in translating operational needs into technical solutions while ensuring secure coding practices and effective documentation.
