. We are hiring immediately for full‑time floor technician positions at the UVA CH Prince William Medical Center located at 8700 Sudley Road, Manassas, VA 20110. Online applications only.

Schedule:

Full‑time, days may vary, 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, rotating weekends. Pay range: $17.50–$19.50 per hour.

Floor Technician is responsible for floor maintenance, restoration, and the operation of industrial floor care equipment.

• Maintains knowledge of hard‑surface floor maintenance principles and uses proper procedures for stripping, refinishing, burnishing, spray cleaning, and spray buffing.
• Operates various types of industrial floor care equipment.
• Utilizes automated equipment for cleaning large floor areas.
• Performs maintenance and restorative processes for all floor surface types, including carpet and upholstery cleaning.
• Other duties as assigned by the manager.

• Previous experience as a floor care technician or related role preferred.
• Proven knowledge of floor care equipment and techniques.
• Knowledge and ability to follow safety procedures.
• Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
