Quotations Specialist - Architectural and Theatrical Lighting

AKT3 is a leading provider of innovative lighting solutions in the architectural and theatrical sectors. We are seeking a detail‑oriented and motivated Quotations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the quotation process, supporting the efficient and accurate preparation of quotes for our clients.

• Collaborate with the sales and project management teams to understand client requirements for architectural and theatrical lighting projects.
• Read and interpret architectural drawings and lighting specifications to gather necessary information for quotations.
• Perform take‑offs to determine the quantities of lighting fixtures and components required for each project.
• Prepare accurate and comprehensive quotations for clients, ensuring alignment with project specifications and budget constraints.
• Utilize Bluebeam Revu software and other tools to review and markup drawings for accurate and detailed quotations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to obtain pricing and product information for quotations.
• Maintain organized records of quotations, pricing, and project details in the company database.
• Provide support in the review and clarification of project requirements with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the completion of the sales cycle by providing complete information to our manufacturers and internal project coordinators.

• Previous experience in a similar role, with a focus on architectural and/or theatrical lighting.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings; previous experience in performing take‑offs is a plus.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam Revu software or similar tools for drawing review.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in preparing quotations.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other relevant software applications.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple quotations simultaneously.

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience working with lighting manufacturers and understanding their product lines.
• Knowledge of industry‑specific standards and regulations.

• Salary range 50K-75K based upon experience.
