The role involves receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming raw materials and components; transporting materials to production lines, work cells, or storage areas; and using pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other material handling equipment as certified.
Additional responsibilities include removing finished goods, scrap, and recyclable materials from production areas; accurately labeling, scanning, and tracking materials using inventory or manufacturing systems; performing routine material counts and assisting with cycle counts; maintaining organized, clean, and safe material storage and staging areas; following all manufacturing safety requirements (including lockout/tagout, PPE, and lifting techniques); supporting lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives;
communicating material shortages, damages, or delays to supervisors and production teams; and complying with all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Responsibilities- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming raw materials and components
- Transport materials to production lines, work cells, or storage areas according to production schedules
- Load, unload, and stage materials using pallet jacks, carts, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (as certified)
- Remove finished goods, scrap, and recyclable materials from production areas
- Accurately label, scan, and track materials using inventory or manufacturing systems
- Perform routine material counts and assist with cycle counts as needed
- Maintain organized, clean, and safe material storage and staging areas
- Follow all manufacturing safety requirements, including lockout/tagout awareness, PPE use, and proper lifting techniques
- Support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate material shortages, damages, or delays to supervisors and production teams
- Comply with all quality, safety, and housekeeping standards
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support manufacturing operations
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
- Forklift or powered industrial truck experience preferred (certification required or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to follow production schedules, work instructions, and safety procedures
- Basic math, reading, and documentation skills
- Experience with inventory systems or scanners a plus
- Experience in a manufacturing plant or production facility
