Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and address preventative maintenance needs for manufacturing equipment performance while proactively identifying and resolving safety concerns.
- Identify performance gaps and implement strategic improvements, documenting hardware and process deviations to prevent recurring problems.
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness of the cleanroom area by adhering to housekeeping protocols and ensuring proper storage and organization of items.
- Participate in teams focused on enhancing equipment availability and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Attend Micron and/or vendor training to deepen understanding of semiconductor tools.
- Stand for long periods, walk several miles per shift, lift 25‑40 lbs occasionally, and perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, stooping, crawling, climbing ladders, and working with arms raised above head level or kneeling while navigating uneven terrain or confined spaces.
- Maintain situational awareness to identify hazards promptly and consistently wear required PPE (e.g., respirators, cleanroom garments) to protect product quality and maintain a safe, contamination‑free environment.
- Work and lead projects related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement, focusing on meeting scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Associate degree in Mechatronics, Electronics, Robotics, or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
- Experience in performing preventative maintenance and repair on manufacturing equipment to minimize downtime.
- Proficient in using mechanical, electronic, and PC/software skills to diagnose and resolve manufacturing equipment issues.
- Ability to work 12‑hour shifts (3 days on/4 days off or 4 days on/3 days off). Night shift position available; overtime may be required.
- Experience or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
- 4+ years of experience maintaining manufacturing equipment, automation, and/or technical military experience.
- 4+ years of experience leading project teams related to manufacturing equipment maintenance and improvement, with a focus on scope, schedule, and budget.
- Experience or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
