Position: Packaging Supervisor/Manager, 2nd Shift (Bottle Packaging Line Experience Required)

Job Summary

The Packaging Supervisor/Manager (2nd shift) is responsible for the day‑to‑day packaging operations at Granules Consumer Health. The individual supervises, motivates, and supports the staff daily, applying a team approach and maintaining open communication. The Packaging Supervisor/Manager also plans, schedules, strategizes and oversees all packaging activities while building quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute packaging planning based on marketing requirements, manpower, and equipment capacity, ensuring product quality meets specifications.
  • Supervise and train a packaging team on SOPs, cGMP, investigations, CAPAs and other quality issues.
  • Maintain a GMP‑compliant work area and meet FDA, OSHA, and company manufacturing requirements.
  • Use available resources efficiently to meet cost, quality and delivery targets.
  • Operate packaging business tools (ERP) and ensure accurate data entry.
  • Execute packaging validation, cleaning verification and equipment validation batches.
  • Monitor change controls, deviations, investigations and implement CAPAs in a timely manner.
  • Enforce all safety procedures and SOPs.
  • Report progress, issues, corrective action status and planned projects to the departmental head.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • BS in Science, Pharmacy or related degree.
  • 8–10 years of packaging supervisory/management experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.
  • Experience on a bottle packaging line within a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical or food manufacturing environment.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong writing, leadership, organizational, planning and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of computer programs and time‑management skills.
  • Ability to lead and motivate people and handle difficult situations with a good awareness of employment‑relation laws.
